Apple is ramping up production of its iPhone, increasing global shipments for the first quarter of 2011 from 19 million units to 20-21 million units, according to Digitimes.

Apple raises iPhone shipments to about 21 million for first quarter of 2011, report says
Apple has bumped up its shipment goals for the iPhone from 19 million units to 20- 21 million units during the first quarter of 2011, according to a report from the DigiTimes. Of those 20 to 21 million iPhones, about 5 to 6 million will be CDMA iPhones, which could run on Verizon’s mobile network, the DigiTimes reported.
