   I think the Palm Pre takes so long to boot up is because it has to load up a full Linux environment.

   I think OS4 has killed the 3G start up time because mine is 58 seconds.

   i just tested my sony ericsson satio with this and it took 48 seconds. so the same as iphone 3g

    People, don’t forget that it realy matters wich network you’re using!!
    Vodafone doesn’t limit the 3G connection, but most other network/service providers does..

    So, this speedtest is not fair!!
