if your buying a used phone not from the retailer itself.. you want to be very careful!.. ALWAYS get the esn(serial number) of the phone, and call the carrier to make sure the phone hasnt been reported stolen. if it has, dont buy it, because you cannot activate stolen equpitment. also double check for water damage. most phones will have a paper dot on the inside of the phone behind the battery, if the dot is gone, or a color, then the phone may have water damage.
i always reccomend, if your going to buy a used phone, buy it from someone u know or buy it from your carrier. then u know what you are getting!!!
