What is the best mobile operator in Turkey?
Question by KATKOUT: What is the best mobile operator in Turkey?
Guys, as i am planning to visit Turkey for a week. I am considering buying a SIM Card (prepaid) and use it for local + international calls, then drop-it back to the service provider.
There’s are 4 operators over there in Turkey, but am confused which one is really the best in terms of:
- Cheap Internet usage GPRS
- Cheap Calls (International)
If you have any idea, please share it with me.

Turkcell is the best, but it isn’t the cheapest.

avea has everything that turkcell has. But avea is a lot cheaper..
Turkcell
Turkcell 0,35 lira for 1 minute.
Avea is 0,25 lira for 1 minute.
Vodafone is 0,29 lira for 1 minute.
Skype is still the cheapest one. Free wireless internet is available at many cafes which are located at tourism areas. don’t leave your laptop at home.
Turkcell is the best operator because sometimes other operators have some problem at urban areas.
